
Kian Tavakoli
Bio
Kian became a part of Robert John Vineyards in 2009. He graduated from UC Davis with a degree in enology in 1992. Kian most recently was the winemaker at Clos Du Val where he ran their red wine program, including their highly-acclaimed reserve bottling. Before joining Clos Du Val in 1996, Kian spent four years learning Cabernet winemaking at Opus One. With over 15 years of winemaking, operations and viticultural experience, Kian brings a exceptional combination of sensory and production skills to the wine industry.

Patrick Saboe
Bio
Patrick became a part of Robert John Vineyards in 2010. Patrick started his career in the restaurant business in 1996. While honeymooning in Napa Valley, he had an epiphany and gained the a spiritual journey to seek out the perfect fermentation. Patrick departed the restaurant scene and went to receive his degree in enology and viticulture at U.C. Davis. After his schooling, Patrick expanded his wine making experience by over seeing the wine product for Verismo, Keller Estate, Petroni and Pezzi King.
